Rebecca also manages BCAN grants from pre-award through award close-out while working closely with BCAN’s senior management to successfully achieve desired research outcomes. | BCAN to Offer Two Bladder Cancer Research Innovation Awards in 2022 The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) will offer two Bladder Cancer Research Innovation Awards in 2022. This marks the second consecutive year that BCAN will grant two such awards to support experienced investigators with exceptionally novel and creative projects designed to produce significant advances in our understanding of the management of bladder cancer. Both awarded proposals will be funded for US$300,000 for two years. These awards support high risk, high reward projects with great potential to produce breakthroughs in our understanding of bladder cancer. The proposed research may be basic, translational, clinical or epidemiological and must have direct applicability and relevance to bladder cancer.
